It's the end of 2022 now, and in 16 days it will be 2023. Still no news or anything for Android version. This is crazy! I have been engaged with Adobe products from their very beginning. I've never seen them treat paying customers this badly. They need to wake up before competitors start to bite into their base. Do they really want to be just an Apple company? That would be a serious mistake! If they wanted to be Apple only, they wouldn't have Fresco for Windows. I mean they don't even have a version of the app for the Mac. They want to make sure it runs as great and bug free as possible. And really, if they made one for the Android, the only device I could see it being compatible with is the Galaxy Tab Follow Report Community guidelines Be kind and respectful, give credit to the original source of content, and search for duplicates before posting. There are so many apps to choose from hoping to same some time if someone would be so kind as to confirm some things about Fresco. Most all the reviews are more drawing than painting-centric.1) Which fluid media can it emulate? Oils? Acrylic? Watercolor?2) It appears to support what is commonly called "impasto" which is that it makes the brush strokes have depth and not be flat. Just confirming this is true and works well?3) Using layers can you sort of designate the layer as wet paint or dry paint so that a subsequent layer on top of it will either blend/smear with or not smear with the underlying layer?4) Does it support Samsung S-Pen so that when you tilt the pen the stroke gets wider as it would in real life with certain brushes?5) Does it have creative options like emulation of a palette knife?6) Can it create high enough resolution images that would be appropriate for quality prints on large canvases like 4-foot by 5-foot?7) Is it currently stable and not crashing for Play Store download for Android Tablets? Thanks much in advance! It's really easy to create your own custom brushes for Fresco using Fresco and Adobe Capture. I've outlined the basic steps here, or you can watch the video for a more in depth tutorial.1. Create a square document in Fresco and paint some dots on it.2. Quick export an image to the camera roll.3. Open the image in Adobe Capture and choose to create a Brush asset.4. Edit the Crop so you have all BODY, no TAIL or HEAD. You can also rotate the drawing in this view to get different effects.Capture Brush Crop5. Chose the Close and intial direction Style.Capture Brush Style6. Turn of the Size under the pressure setting, for drawing with an Apple pencil. Take the spacing to 1%.Capture Brush Settings7. Save the new brush to a Creative Cloud Library.8. Now you are ready to start painting with it in Fresco. Return to Fresco and open a document to work on.9. Find the custom brush in the Pixel Brushes. Swipe to the bottom and Find the Creative Cloud Libraries. Your new brush will be in a Library. You can create a Library just for Fresco brushes as I have done here.Creative Cloud Libraries for Custom Brushes10. Choose a color for the hair, and a large brush size for cartoon lines like shown here. Or paint with a small brush for more realistic looking hair.11. Change the brush blend mode to create layered highlights or shadows.Brush Blend ModesI hope you found this helpful or inspiring. I'd love to see what you create with your own custom brushes.
