Social media is powered by video, and that’s why it’s an excellent way to promote video content that lives on your website. Here are seven tips to help drive traffic from your social channels to your web videos.Make it a teaser. Create a short cutdown of your full-length video, running 10-30 seconds. Use the best shots to tell an abbreviated version of the story, the way a movie trailer sells the full-length film.Front load the visuals. You have only a few seconds to hook viewers as they scroll through their news feed. Put your most important or engaging visuals at the front.Add descriptive text and/or captions. Up to 85% of social video viewing is done with the sound off. If there is someone speaking in your video, include captions. Adding descriptive text can help drive the message.Know the specs. Each platform has its own specs. For example, YouTube recommends a 16:9 aspect ratio while Instagram recommends square. Prepare your video in the correct specs for each platform.Upload directly. Most social platforms give preference to videos you upload directly rather than linking to YouTube or some other video hosting service. Direct uploads result in higher engagements and shares.Include a call to action. Most social channels allow you to add a CTA button that can link to your web page. It’s more effective than just a URL. Give the button an engaging title, such as “Tell me more!” or “Learn more about it.”Consider the culture. Each platform has its own personality. Facebook is mainly about entertainment and inspiration, LinkedIn is career and business oriented, and Twitter focuses on opinions and special interests. To make sure your social video fits in, consider creating different versions for each platform it will run on. This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information Once you’ve reached player level 110 you can start unlocking Alliance Allied races. Here’s everything you need to know. Allied Races are a new addition to World of Warcraft‘s Battle for Azeroth expansion. It allows players to create characters from a handful of races they’ve likely encountered before. Unfortunately, unlike Cataclysm’s addition of the Goblin and Worgen races, there’s technically nothing completely new in Battle for Azeroth. The Allied Races are essentially alternative versions of World of Warcraft’s existing playable races. Still cool, though. Ignoring the technicalities and lore of each class, when it comes to the Alliance’s Allied Race options Lightforged Draenei are super-holy Draenei, Void Elves are shady blood elves for Alliance, Dark Iron Dwarves are basically that, and Kul Tiran humans are humans with more diverse character models and insanely awesome Druid forums. Allied Races feature their own unique abilities and mounts (usable by all characters once unlocked). They also gain access to exclusive Heritage Armor which are sets of cosmetic armor specific to race. Any armor type can be transmogrified into Heritage Armor, but they only by characters of the set’s specific race. Heritage Armor sets are unlocked only by leveling each Allied Race character from level 20 to 110, without purchasing any boosts (such as the free 110 included with Battle for Azeroth). Allied Races were touted as one of the major selling points of Battle for Azeroth. Unlike most features added in previous expansions you’ll have to do some significant legwork if you want to create a character of one of the new races. If you skipped out on Legion or just didn’t play all too much, you’ll have to catch up on required reputations and questlines before unlocking each of the Allied Races. Once you’ve reached player level 110 and have met the reputation and achievement requirements for an Allied Race, you’ll earn access to a questline to unlock that race. Complete the quests and you’ll be able to create characters (or race change into) one of the new Allied Races. Here’s everything you need to do to unlock each of the Alliance’s Allied Races in Battle for Azeroth: Lightforged Draenei Image via Blizzard Entertainment If regular Draenei weren’t cool enough, Alliance players can now unlock Lightforged Draenei. The background of this race is heavily rooted in Legion’s Argus campaign, and as such requires completing quests for and grinding quite a bit of reputation with the related faction; Army of the Light. It’s worth noting that by progressing through questlines on Argus, you’ll earn reputation with both Army of Light and Argussian Reach. The latter of these two factions requires Exalted No longer a cub, old friend."Enemy 4Xerath▶️ Xerath: "I will rip the power from the dessert."▶️ Gnar: "Powaaah! Paa!
