Alternative vista control panel

I tried to install Realtek driver. On the previous versions on Windows 10 it worked fine, but not now. The installation process goes well seamingly, but after restart there is no Realte control panel, no icon in the bottom right corner, so I'm unable to reconfigure the audio jack panel. Every time I uninstalled the previous driver before the new was installed. The notification bar is OK, because no icons is hidden, but there is no Realtek icon. It may not display this or other websites correctly.You should upgrade or use an alternative browser. #1 When trying to access the control panel in Vista it'll start to draw up and just dissapear.I'll have to reboot hit F8 and select last know good config.When it gets back into windows I can access the c.p.I've tried system restore and that worked for awhile, but the problem comes back again.Also, when I right click on the desktop and click on personalize it does the same thing.NOD32 hasn't found any problems.Windows Defender and Adaware haven't found anything either.Windows is uptodate also.Very strange.. #2 what video drivers are you using ? #3 Originally posted by: mzkhadirwhat video drivers are you using ? Each time, I have begun with either the nVIDIA 680i chipset drivers OR the video card (100.64). Without installing ANYthing else, I get a missing control panel. This means that v15 of the chipset divers AND 100.64 both have identically corrupting software.I looked at Bob's suggestion but the nvcplui fix did not work for me. I think it no longer applies to the 100.64. I have yet to try replacing the other two files, though. It isn't abundantly clear to me how to go about that.The 100.64 drivers are beta, I think.
