I waited a few years and wish I had done it sooner. The app is awesome! It lays out the workouts for you and makes it a no brainer. There is all kinds of videos you can watch from workouts, recipes, and inspirational videos. It’s like having your own personal trainer that is at your pace. You can also keep track of your progress on the app and earn points to redeem for stuff. Definitely get a heart monitor that will connect to the app. It will be displayed on the screen as you workout so you know if you are over doing it or need to push it a little harder. I am three weeks in, just started week four today, and I have lost 9 lbs already. I am 52, a disabled veteran, have a screw and wire in my ankle, and arthritis in my back. I haven’t workout since I was in the Army and was pushing over 272 lbs at 6’3”. This is very low impact but gets your heart going and burns calories.
