To create or edit a template:1. Click Media Type to make sure the label size inside the label printer is matching up with the layout.2. To change the layout or label size, click Layout menu, Edit/Create Layout.3. Click the Paper tab, click Check Media, and then change the layout if needed.4. Save the template:a. Click File menu, Save As.b. Under Save in:, click the arrow down key and go to this path => C:\Program Files\Brother\PtAdrBook11\Layout Style\Roll and then select a folder that you want to save it under.c. For this example, we will shift the current information on the label use the Text Box in order to add more information to the label. 3. Create a Text Box by selecting the Text Tool, holding down you’re the left click on the mouse and dragging a Text Box onto the label.4. Type your information into the label. Once you are done, right click and select Properties.5. Click the Expanded Tab. For this example, we’ll change Target to P-Touch Address Book and Merge Fields to Phone. This will ensure out new Phone Number section on the label will match with the phone number field in Address Book. Click OK.6. Click File, Save As. Save the label to the default location for your Address Book Templates. If your label templates fail to save, change the save location to your Desktop. Once your label is saved, move the file to the default location for your Address Label Templates.7. Open Address Book and browse to your label template. The new field should be visible.
