Image via Riot Games Brace yourself, a series of champions are receiving changes in the next patch. | Published: Aug 3, 2022 03:12 am The League of Legends dev team are aiming to strengthen 10 champions in Patch 12.15. Matt “Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison, the lead designer for the game’s balance team has shared a series of changes coming to Patch 12.15, which is expected to ship on Wednesday, next week. This time around, the number of champions and systems receiving buffs in the next patch is significantly higher than the nerfs. “Most buffs are targeted at repeatability over burst,” Phroxzon explained. A few assassins have found themselves on the buff list, including Zed and Akali. The devs are giving Zed an infinite mimic range on his Shadow spell and decreasing the energy cost on his E. Similarly, the devs are increasing the energy cost and refund of Akali’s W when she presumably enters the fog. In the mid lane in Patch 12.14, Zed and Akali have recorded 50.82 and 49.09 percent win rates, respectively, according to U.GG. Notable: We're happy with where Yi has ended up across skill brackets, but he's too strong across the board. Taliyah, targeted at E uptimeMost buffs are targeted at repeatability over burst. Other changes are small swings as we attempt to stabilize for playoffs and worlds. pic.twitter.com/riILtvEFZT— Matt Leung-Harrison (@RiotPhroxzon) August 3, 2022 A handful of other champions are set to receive buffs as well, with a few junglers among them. Lillia’s damage in the jungle is getting buffed, Rammus is receiving changes to his ultimate, and Lee Sin is getting a recast spell energy cost decrease. Top laners and support champs are also on the list. Singed, Kennen, and Shen are receiving minor changes, and Leona and Thresh are being significantly buffed. Dual-wielding is something good early on and even better in mid-late game. If you start smithing (to upgrade and craft better weapons), enchanting (not required, but obviously a plus), and once you get one-handed to 70 it seriously starts to take off with Dual Savagery.I literally one hit kill most enemies now because of how buffed my swords are, and I don't even need to use the dual-wielding power attack to kill most enemies now, just the normal version.Really, it just depends on the strength of your weapons. I found I was dishing out unbelievable damage once upgraded all of my Ebony stuff to Legendary, although I got a Daedric sword which is doing even more damage.Although yeah, dual-wielding is amazing for me. I can literally take down a dragon in a matter of a few seconds.Edit: Also, I don't find myself getting overwhelmed or feeling like an underwhelming force often. I usually only have to heal after the battle, but that's probably because my HP and Ebony armor are buffed up a lot.Comethazine – Buffed Up Lyrics - Genius
Nuclear thermal rockets, monopropellant engines, and ion engines from TWR buffs. (They're close enough to reality already.)2015 11 22 (1.1.2): More compatibility (inspired by Atomic Age).Improved selectivity of engine mass buff by excluding multi-mode engines and IntakeAtm-breathing engines. (All Oxidizer-burning engine modes will still get a thrust increase.)2015 12 07 (1.1.3): More selection adjustments.Changed engine mass buffs to apply to engines which only have oxidizer-burning modes (so that SpaceY's engines get buffed -- they use a MultiModeEngine module to simulate the all-nozzle vs. center-out/center-only modes of operation, so excluding all multi-mode engines wasn't fair.)2016 01 08 (1.1.4): Argon adaptationNew ArgonGas patch for the tank efficiency changes made in Near Future Propulsion 0.6.0.I've made some slight changes in the backend for handling Cryogenic Engines. In my testing, I haven't noticed any changes in spacecraft mass (either in the VAB or in flight), but please be careful!2016 01 27 (1.2): Entry, Descent, and LandingMasses of crew containers and heat shields are reduced by half, to permit reduced (and reasonable) capsule ballistic coefficients. Now pods are more likely slow down in time to get their chutes open.Added a "reserved mass" system so that engines and pods only modify mass which is not accounted for by fuel tanks and batteries.Added a "SMURFFCONFIG" section -- adjust the "tanklever", "enginelever", and "podlever" variables to control how much of a buff is applied. 1 for real-ish performance (default), 0 to leave stock values alone, and everything in between is in between. Try 0.5 for the likes of 64k or SKY.Changed patches to run FOR[zSMURFF], so that the patches run later. SpaceY's engines now get properly buffed when Cryogenic Engines is installed. (SpaceY replaces the ModuleEnginesFX modules of some engines in that circumstance, and since SpaceY comes after SMURFF, the thrust buff was being overwritten.)Added a "fix" for parts whose mass gets sent into the negatives (i.e. any part which weighs less than it "should" by stockalike standards): their masses get restored to their initial values.Added support for "SMURFFExclude" -- add "SMURFFExclude = true" to any part you don't want to get buffed.2016 02 02 (1.2.1): De-icingAdapted to. 2025-04-03What was the original drop rate for Seph, Nid, and Sophia? Am I correct in assuming that they've had their drop rate buffed only once since release (see 3.50 notes)? What is their current drop rate now (ignoring the upcoming maintenance on Tuesday)? What is Zurvan's drop rate?Did zurvan around 55 times in the free time I had, Saw bird like 4 times and I consider that lucky. Rolled 3, 28, 88, 50 and of course I didn't get it : DFrom what I gather - both Seph and Nidd sits around 20%~. They have been buffed at least 2-3 times now. Sophia has only been buffed once and she sits around 10ish~ and Zurv is like 5 lol.Apologies in advance for sounded jaded, but I don't see how the info is going to help you. Regardless of drop rate, it's do it or don't. AFAIK, however, Zurvan and Sophia have worse drop rate than the rest... for now.3DS FC: 1375-7722-0434GT: SmokyJoMama, PSN: SmokyJoMama-samaFrom all the runs I've done of Seph it feels like 10% to 15%, have about 50+ totems. Can you link patch notes for Seph and Nid, please? They just say that it has been increased. Players figure out the approximate drop rate on their own.For example, after the latest buff, they just said :The drop rates for the warring lanner whistle, dark lanner whistle, and the sophic lanner whistle have been increased. No actual numbers though. Is this finally a conundrum that CAN'T be solved by helicopter theft? My response was to the person that said that Seph got buffed 2-3 times. Btw, I went through since it was released from 3.20 to the present and searched for the string "increas" for every patch and it was only
2025-04-09The long maintenance for the implementation of update 3.2 "The Gears of Change" in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is coming close to an end, and Square Enix has now made the patch available for download on all platforms. If you want to get ready for the reopening of the servers, which will happen in about 2.5 hours at 2 AM PST, you can get downloading right now. The PC patch weighs 1352.43 megabytes, while the PS4 patch will take 1555.18 megabytes of your bandwidth. The patch brings a lot of new features including new dungeons, a new raid, an expansion to the story, easy mode for tanks (well, not really easy mode, I guess, but paladins get significantly buffed, and other tanks' aggro gets buffed as well), a new PvP mode and a whole ton more. You can find the full patch notes here. And yes, Hildibrand is coming back too. What's not to love?
