I have happily used their products for years starting with controllers for brushed motors and now brushless motors. Recently, they have introduced several new lines of brushless controllers including the Phoenix Ice series which now has 4 models to choose from based on power usage, each named for the maximum Amps it is designed to handle: the Phoenix Ice 50, t75, 100, and new for 2010, the Phoenix Ice 200. I went to Castle Creations where I entered the code and ordered the Castle Link adaptor. The item sells for $24.95 plus shipping. However, with the code it was all free! I had to supply credit card information, but there was no charge. This offer expires on 08/01/2010. The adaptor will be needed to take advantage of the Data Logging capabilities of the Phoenix Ice. Additionally, the Castle Link USB connector is needed to connect to the adaptor to get the data into the computer. This is sold separately for about $8.00 plus shipping. I had previously purchased one to program my controllers in the past. The software for the Data logging is free on Castle Creation's Website. Questions about performance of my motor, battery or the controller it will be easy to get new data to check against the saved logged in data I have in my computer from the initial test flights. The Phoenix Ice is a great controller. I have come to expect that from Castle Creations, and they didn't disappoint. *Pluses:*Performed all of the normal controller functions flawlessly.*Normal control functions had my desired settings as the default settings.*Settings can be programmed by use of my transmitter or my computer with the Castle Data Link System.*Data Logging supplies significant information for a base line setting that is saved and can be used for comparison as battery and motor get order. Should be especially helpful in tracking the battery's condition.*Everything worked as it should!*Minuses:*I wish I could reset the Data Logger without connecting to my computer when I don't need the data but just want to clear it for the next flight.My thanks to Dick Andersen, Jeff Hunter and our editor, Angela H for their assistance in making this review and to Castle Creations for supplying the Phoenix Ice 75 for review and testing.
