A fan Diablo 2 Unreal Engine 5 demo has been made available for download, featuring Act 3's Durance of Hate dungeon.Created by 3D environment artist Michal Wawruch, this Unreal Engine 5 demo is based on Blizzard's 2021 Diablo II: Resurrected - a remaster of the PC fan-favorite from 2000. The UE5 demo benefits from Epic's Nanite and Lumen tech, and while Blizzard's official remaster was a big upgrade over the original, this fan demo is something else entirely. That said, fans will need to farm the four Essences every time that they wish to create one of these Tokens, and that is not something that many Diablo 2: Resurrected players will want to do repeatedly. Be careful when leveling up and try to avoid needing this item. If it gets really ugly, try soliciting one from a superior player. It is tradeable, just be prepared to pay with rare runes or expensive weapons. Reroll If a player has a fairly low-level character, has already used Akara's reset, and is still unhappy with their stat and skill point allocation, they may want to consider creating an entirely new character in Diablo 2: Resurrected. While this option is undoubtedly not ideal, it may be better than playing an unoptimized character all the way to the point where a Token of Absolution can be put together. Classes have different strengths and weaknesses, so this is a decent option for those with a strong early game presence.
