2025-04-06My iMac is running SL but I have an external bootable hard drive running Lion.When using Software Update on the iMac SL system drive there is no mention of Flashback but when booting into Lion on the external I was able to download the tool.Does SL need it and if so how can I get it? iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8), FCE 4 + FCS 3 . . . The update called "Flashback malware removal tool" is only for machines running Lion without Java installed. There are two other updates for other machines, one of which for Snow Leopard.
