I like Chrome's click-to-play feature. I also like Chrome's PDF viewer. But, I can't use Chrome's PDF viewer for password-protected PDFs when click-to-play is enabled.1,2Is there a way to disable click-to-play for the PDF plugin only — that is, just let the PDF plugin always run, but still use click-to-play for all other plugins? asked Mar 2, 2011 at 15:30 1 This should be possible with the contentSettings API in Chrome 15, in that you could enable the PDF plugin for all urls, but the option to change per plugin is not yet built-in to the browser (see crbug.com/106917). Instead, you can install the Per-plugin content settings extension, go to the extension's options page, select the PDF viewer, and enter as the hostname pattern, and select "Allow".This will make the PDF plugin run on all sites while leaving other plugins as the default (e.g. click-to-play), hopefully this will make password-protected PDFs work as well.Update: Chrome 17+ now includes an "Allow" checkbox next to each plugin in the chrome://plugins page to do this, but it is not as flexible as the extension linked above. answered Dec 28, 2011 at 6:46 Adam M-WAdam M-W5532 gold badges7 silver badges20 bronze badges You can enable Click to Play for plugins and then go to about:plugins and select the "Always allowed" checkbox for the plugin(s) that should always load such as Chrome PDF Viewer. This setting overrides click to play and the automatic plugin blocking. answered Jul 25, 2012 at 8:59 No, this is not possible. You can, however, add a particular website to exceptions list so that you can always allow plugins from that site. The exceptions list is for websites only, not plugins. If you're accessing PDF files from a particular site, you can make use of this option. The Exceptions list can be

#1 The plugins to yanfly are behind a paywall and I just can't afford to get them atm (I'm broke and not happy about it). So can anyone suggest and plugins that can be used for commercial games? Any help will do. And yes, I am learning Javascript as we speak but it's a struggle. #2 Yanfly's plugins cover a huge range of functionality. Is there a particular plugin/function you're looking for? It's not really possible to recommend anything unless you specify what you need a plugin for.Searching the Plugin Released board on these forums would also be a good place to see what is already released and being worked on (and read the terms for commercial use). Himeworks, Galv, Smrndmdude, Moghunter also have many (mostly unsupported now) plugins, so you could search for what available from them (and also check terms).(edit: typos) #3 Victor Engine has similar plugins to Yanfly's #4 himeworks has quite a few! also yanfly does have some plugins for free, you can find them hereother than that, id just look for plugins you need on a case by case basis, if you ask for what you need specifically people will be happy to help! but its a bit difficult to be helpful towards a vague question #5 You can use most of Triacontane's plugins in commercial games. They have a huge collection of plugins you can find here: #6 You can use most of Triacontane's plugins in commercial games. They have a huge collection of plugins you can find here: If only those had English documentation... I mean, I realize I could use google, but passing 100+ plugins thru google translate just to see what they actually do and how they work is a huge chore. #7 I used google chrome on my phone (just to see the help files) There's an option you can choose to auto translate text and whenever you go to a page with a different language it translates it for you. And maybe there are firefox or chrome extensions for auto page translation?Triacontane's plugins are awesome! I had so much trouble in the past where certain plugins wouldn't be compatible and such. These ones I found were a good alternative. Last edited: Jul 2, 2020

Removal of NPAPI support will affect user experience for users who access Citrix Receiver for Web using the Chrome browser on Windows and Mac.” April 2015 (Chrome 42) NPAPI support will be disabled by default in Chrome and we will unpublish extensions requiring NPAPI plugins from the Chrome Web Store. All NPAPI plugins will appear as if they are not installed, as they will not appear in the navigator.plugins list nor will they be instantiated (even as a placeholder).”What can you do about it?Well, there is a fix that allows you to manually turn on and re-enable NPAPI plug ins to override the change that the Chrome update pushed out. You may need to make this change with each update to Chrome in the future as their default is to disable NPAPI. Follow the steps below to enable NPAPI.This is only a temporary fix as NPAPI Plugins will be fully removed from Chrome in September 2015.• While in Chrome, open this URL: chrome://flags/#enable-npapi• Enable this: Enable NPAPI Mac, Windows• Restart BrowserNow you can test your Citrix in Chrome, it should work like it did before and launch your desktop outside of the Browser window.Remember, Chrome will no longer support these plugins after September 2015.

Clean install of 14.04 LTS. Single OS. Have installed Chrome for linux, updated, removed, reinstalled 14.04 LTS. No flash. I have done everything from every site I can find, nothing.Using Chrome I get a Black Screen. For example I got ver 34.0.1847.132 here with pepperflash ver.13.0.0.206 installed. To use it by default you need to go to chrome://plugins/ go to Adobe Flash Player section and select what ver. to use answered Apr 25, 2014 at 9:56 There does seem to be a bug with Pepperflashplugin indeed. (Flashplugin-installer package would not work for Chrome too, only on Firefox)As a workaround, I suggest using Chrome beta channel.
