Kontakt orchestral library

Hello,The original Kontakt Factory Libraries from Kontakt 5 are not showing up in Kontakt 7. I don't know if they are suppose to or not, but I cannot find the Violin Solo preset from the Kontakt 5 Library in the Kontakt Factory Library 2. Do I have to use Kontakt 5 in order to get the Violin Solo preset? All samples have varying amounts of stage ambience, depending on their front-to-back placement, but in addition to that a good hall reverb is a must. This library comes with its own sample player, no other software is required and includes all of the orchestral instruments section nicely separated as individual sections for maximum control.ProjectSAM The Free OrchestraThis one comes to conversation a lot, and no wonder, since it is such an amazing free library for Kontakt. The sounds are derived from various instruments of the Symphobia range of products and this collection works with the free version of Kontakt Player. You get a lot of great sounds, from orchestral string staccatos and brass clusters to symphonic percussion and dystopian sound design, and it all comes nicely packed at 1GB. ProjectSAM has updated this library since last time we’ve seen it, so now it also features some instruments from Symphobia 4 Pandora and Symphobia 3 Lumina. Continuing the series on my favourite orchestral sample libraries, this week we turn to one of the forgotten areas of the orchestral world, the harp. If you’ve followed the series you’ve probably seen the regular disclaimer I’ve made about what i look for from a sample library but just in case you’re newly tuning in:I look for usability, great sounding recordings, flexibility of sound and how easily my computer will cope with the strains of running the sound library in question.I also focus on the sound of the acoustic in which the samples are recorded, as they give the sound its character.For some context if you are new to this series take a moment to look at Episode One.Because harp libraries focus on that instrument alone, it can often be forgotten when allocating budget for samples and consequently can be overlooked completely - with users relying on inbuilt factory sounds of their DAW, which sells the instrument short.I have tried a number of harp libraries and just to reiterate what I’ve stated in the previous article, the following is NOT an exhaustive list of available options - it’s just what I choose to use, and an explanation of why.Spitfire HarpCineharpsKontakt library Orchestral Harp (from legacy Vienna Symphonic Orchestral sounds (VSL)Bonus mention for Arpeggio (Sonokinetic!!)To give you an idea of the differences between these libraries, here’s a recording of a few bars we’ve composed to show the differences in the sound of each library. Because the company offers so many piano options, I frequently see people asking which ones are best, or what the differences are between the various piano products. I hope to answer most of those questions here. I'll also provide some audio demos of every current and recent Native Instruments piano- so you can hear the differences for yourself.AKOUSTIK PIANOIn 2006, Native Instruments released Akoustik Piano, an instrument that included sampled versions of four different pianos. While it used the Kontakt engine under the hood, Akoustik Piano could run as a standalone application or a plugin. They don't have fancy user interfaces, but they offer most of the standard tweakable parameters- and a number of not-so-standard parameters for pianos. Some of the piano samples in the Kontakt factory library come from Akoustik Piano, but the library also includes some piano sounds that don't appear anywhere else.The Kontakt pianos are split across the Band and Orchestral categories, which have different feature sets. Despite their basic appearance these pianos do feature multiple velocity and microphone layers.
