Nilinaw ng dating manager ni Liza Soberano na si Ogie Diaz ang naging pahayag ni Jeffrey Oh, CEO ng Careless Music, bagong management ng aktres.Ayon kay Mr. Oh sa kanyang speech sa 2nd Philippine Creative Industries Summit a few days ago, inalok si Liza noon ng Marvel para mag-audition sa role ng iconic character na Mary Jane Watson sa Spiderman: Homecoming pero hindi pinayagan ang aktres dahil nakakontrata ito sa ABS-CBN.Lumikha ng ingay ang statement ni Mr. Oh at nahalungkat nga rin ang naging pahayag ni Liza noong 2016 na walang invitation sa kanya para mag-audition sa Marvel.“It’s not really an invitation. I think it was what the fans wanted lang, fans of Marvel. I think one of them is Pinay and parang she tweeted that, parang kung merong magiging Mary Jane Watson, she would want it to be me. All my fans started retweeting it and everything but wala naman po talagang invitation,” ang pahayag noon ni Liza.Dahil dito, naloloka ang netizens, especially ang fans ni Liza, at hindi na malaman kung ano ba talaga ang paniniwalaan.Sa latest vlog ni Ogie, sinabi niya na wala talagang offer kay Liza. Hinamon niya si Jeffrey na maglabas ng resibo para patotohanan ang sinabi nito.“Mr. Jeffrey, you might want to release the receipt or the proof that Liza received an invitation from Marvel to audition for the role of Mary Jane,” ani Ogie.“Dahil ako, bilang former manager ni Liza, at ang Star Magic at ang ABS-CBN, as far as we know, walang imbitasyon mula sa Marvel.
