This is a Vault-Tec themed retexture for the Pipboy Readius by AlexScorpion for Fallout 3 and recently uploaded by xXTainXx for use with Fallout New Vegas. This is my first mod ever so I hope it doesn't prove painful for anyone! Please let me know if you have any issues and I shall try to help to the best of my ability.If you have any issues with the default size of the Pipboy Readius, as I have seen comments on the main file proves some have, Then follow these steps: Users having trouble reading the default font size need to change the pipboyfov to a lower number than the default 47.00 it's set at. I'd recommend to take it to 35.00 (this moves the READIUS closer to the screen, resulting in an easier to read font, much like vanilla pipboy). For this to work you need to change it in 3 .ini files, two files are located in documents/my games/falloutnv those two are fallout.ini and falloutprefs.ini, then this must be repeated in steam/steamapps/fallout new vegas in one .ini file, that file being fallout_default.ini then the device should be larger (as displayed in the picture contained in this archive). If you can't save the files after editing make sure you have right-clicked on each .ini file and unticked the "read only" box to allow editing.The line in each .ini file should look like this fPipboy1stPersonFOV=47.0 which I personally prefer as fPipboy1stPersonFOV=35.0 (the larger view). It also includes re-skins for both the Readius and Pipboy 3000. If you don't use the Readius, then the "Dirty and Rusty" Pipboy will display. If you use the Readius, my "Apache Readius" re-skin will automatically display.If you want to use a different skin for your Readius or Pipboy, all you have to do is install that skin AFTER you install the Dark and Dirty Interface and overwrite any files.If playing a female character, I recommend the vaultGirlStatus mod.Pointing Crosshair:I thought that all the non-aiming crosshairs I've seen are just too precise for an unaimed snapshot.
