(13 News) - The three suspects arrested in connection with the murder of good Samaritan Paul Clifford in Pima County on Christmas Eve have been indicted.A grand jury indicted 40-year-old Jack Upchurch, 19-year-old Elmer Smith, and 16-year-old Wendy Scott on charges of first-degree murder, armed robbery, aggravated robbery, kidnapping, vehicle theft, third-degree burglary and evidence tampering. Upchurch and Smith are being held on $1 million bonds while Scott’s bond was set at $500,000.The Pima County Sheriff’s Department confirmed a standoff Dec. 30 led to the arrests.The PCSD said detectives developed information the suspects were possibly in the area of Benson Highway near Country Club.Detectives obtained a search warrant and the Pima Regional SWAT Team served it at the location.
